CABBIES WANT BAN ON RIDE-HAILING FIRMS
KUALA LUMPUR: More than 100 cabbies gathered at the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex yesterday over a case involving the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) and ridehailing services. The taxi drivers want Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak to stop Uber and Grab from operating in the country. Earlier, the High Court dismissed a suit by 102 taxi drivers against SPAD.
