Style it right
STYLING mousse works best when used on damp hair. You should distribute the product evenly through straight hair, before working it in with a comb, advises top hairdresser Jens Dagne. "Depending on the length of your hair, the amount of foam you will need is about the size of two to three walnuts." If you want to add volume, the next move is to blow-dry the hair from behind, starting at the roots. Work in the mousse with a barrel brush at the same time. If you simply want wavy hair, it is best left to air-dry; alternatively you can use a hair dryer with a diffuser attachment on it. Applying mousse to dry hair will not produce such satisfactory results. Dagne advises using a styling mousse enriched with panthenol. – dpa
