Unique advertising collaboration
TGV holds a special place in the hearts of the co-founders of local beauty product line Satin Skinz.
A TGV cinema hall was where Muhammad Iskandar Safuan Sukandar proposed to Mizatuladha Mangsor, and the couple started Satin Skinz in 2014.
Today, they are taking their product branding one step further by collaborating with TGV Cinemas Sunway Pyramid.
For the next six months, not only will their advertisements be featured on the screens but also on buntings, hall doors, wall panels and also at the ticketing stalls as well as a Satin Skinz kiosk at the cinema entrance.
“It is total location branding,” said Celeste Koay, head of marketing services for TGV Cinemas. “We applaud Satin Skinz for really recognising cinema advertising as a platform for it to reach out to its target audience. It is more than cinema advertising on screen.”
Meanwhile, TGV will officially launch its first IMAX theatre in Kuching’s Vivacity Megamall tomorrow.
Another IMAX hall will be added when Sunway Velocity Mall opens in Kuala Lumpur at the end of the year, along with several activities planned in conjunction with Star Wars: Rogue One. – S. Indra Sathiabalan
