Get set for a bar­rel of laughs

HONG KONG ac­tor-cum­co­me­dian John­son Lee Sze-Jit ( left) will be at the Arena of Stars, Re­sorts World Gent­ing, for a fun-filled con­cert on Dec 10 at 8.30pm. Apart from ren­der­ing some pop­u­lar Can­topop hits, Lee will also be per­form­ing a spe­cially-chore­graphed stand-up com­edy ses­sion that will see him im­per­son­at­ing pop­u­lar celebri­ties. Join­ing him on stage are TVB ac­tor Q Bobo, ac­tress Jac­que­line Wong Sum Wing and ac­tress-cum-singer Bondy Chiu Hok Yee. Lee en­tered the Hong Kong en­ter­tain­ment scene as a young co­me­dian. He made his act­ing de­but in 2003 in the TVB drama, Not Just a Pretty Face.

In ad­di­tion to star­ring in TV roles, Lee has made a name for him­self as a co­me­dian and celebrity im­per­son­ator.

In 2010, he co-hosted the pop­u­lar TVB va­ri­ety show, Fun with Liza and Gods, and fol­lowed that up with the suc­cess­ful col­lab­o­ra­tion as co-host with ac­tor Pal Sinn in 2015 on the late-night show Sze U Tonight.

Lee re­cently starred as the lead in a new TVB drama Daddy Dear­est, which was aired this Au­gust on Astro.
