PETALING JAYA: PKR lead­ers have com­mended ef­forts by former pre­mier Tun Dr Ma­hathir Mo­hamad to put aside his dif­fer­ences with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. PKR vice-pres­i­dent and Batu MP Tian Chua said the move is a good sign. “The party is glad to see Ma­hathir and Anwar be­ing mag­nan­i­mous in putting aside their dif­fer­ences,” he said yes­ter­day. Party vi­cepres­i­dent and Seri An­dalas as­sem­bly­man Dr Xavier Jayaku­mar said: “As long as both be­lieve they can work with each other and are united in tak­ing on Barisan Na­sional in the gen­eral elec­tion, I do not see why PKR and Parti Pribumi Ber­satu Malaysia can’t do the same.”
