Sagna out for 3 weeks
BACARY SAGNA has been ruled out for three weeks with a hamstring tear.
The Manchester City star suffered the injury while on international duty with France over the weekend.
Sagna had to limp off in the first half of France’s 4-1 World Cup qualifying win over Bulgaria on Friday.
The Frenchman was thought to be sidelined for at least a month when the injury first happened, but scans suggest the damage isn’t as bad as first feared.
But it is bad news for Pep Guardiola who will be without the 33-year-old for Everton’s visit on Saturday, both Champions League matches against Barcelona, and the EFL Cup clash with Manchester United on October 26.
Sagna has played five matches for City this season and started in their 2-1 win over United last month.
His absence over the coming weeks will likely lead to Pablo Zabaleta coming into the fold.
