FBI PROBES ‘IN­TEN­TIONAL’ CON­NECTI­CUT PLANE CRASH

WASHINGTON: The FBI is in­ves­ti­gat­ing an “in­ten­tional” crash of a small plane in Con­necti­cut that killed a Jor­da­nian stu­dent and injured an Amer­i­can flight in­struc­tor, re­ports said yes­ter­day. The plane ex­ploded in a fire­ball on Tues­day in East Hart­ford. The flight in­struc­tor, who sur­vived the crash, said it was not an ac­ci­dent, a re­port said. The dead vic­tim was iden­ti­fied as Jor­da­nian trainee pi­lot, Feras Fre­it­ekh, 28. He had a pri­vate pi­lot cer­tifi­cate. – AFP
