KUALA LUMPUR: The Philip­pine author­i­ties have not yet con­firmed the na­tion­al­ity of a man, be­lieved to be Malaysian, who was ar­rested be­fore he could launch a bomb at­tack in Que­zon City, Metro Manila on Oct 8. In­spec­tor-Gen­eral of Po­lice Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, when con­tacted, said Malaysia is still wait­ing for in­for­ma­tion on the man known as Mo­hamad Amin. The sus­pect, a bomb-mak­ing ex­pert, is among mil­i­tants wanted by the Philip­pine gov­ern­ment which has of­fered 600,000 pe­sos (RM51,600) to any­one pro­vid­ing in­for­ma­tion lead­ing to his ar­rest.
