Petron introduces new prepaid fleet card
PETRON Malaysia presents a new prepaid fleet card aimed at small and medium enterprises (SMEs). It aims to help these companies manage their monthly fuel expenses.
The pre-loaded fuel card is said to allow corporate customers efficiently manage their fleet of vehicles’ fuel consumption and expenses, while providing great rewards and support services.
Called the Petron Prepaid Fleet Card – this new easy to use card is equipped with the latest microchip technology that prevents transaction tampering, unauthorised card duplication and accidental data deletion. It also offers a real-time tracking function that allows customers to control and monitor consumption and expenses. With this card, fuel settings and credit limits can be set, and access of account details and information on usage can be downloaded or printed – allowing better monitoring.
Said Petron Malaysia head of retail Faridah Ali, “The introduction of the Petron Prepaid Fleet Card is to provide customers convenience. Our mission is to help our customers manage their fleet better by enabling a cashless payment system.” Besides the benefits of cashless payment, card holders can also earn Petron Miles points when they fuel up, receiving one point for every ringgit spent on fuel.
The prepaid card can be used at the fuel pump outdoors or at the indoor payment counters throughout the 550 Petron service stations nationwide. Reload is easy – by making a cash deposit, cheque payment or via Interbank Giro online transfer.
To acquire a Petron Prepaid Fleet Card, one only needs to fill up a form, which is available at any Petron service station, then submit it with one’s company business registration form to Petron Malaysia headquarters. Successful applications should receive their cards within two weeks.
