DAP MP BOOTED OUT

KUALA LUMPUR: DAP law­maker Lim Lip Eng be­came the first per­son to be booted out from the Spe­cial Cham­ber set up to de­bate ur­gent is­sues yes­ter­day fol­low­ing an or­der by Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mu­lia. Speak­ing to re­porters, the Segam­but MP said Pandikar had ac­cused him of ridi­cul­ing the Speaker’s chair for is­su­ing a state­ment on an ear­lier sub ju­dice rul­ing. He said fol­low­ing a fierce ex­change of words, dur­ing which he called Pandikar “a dis­grace to Par­lia­ment”, he walked out.
