Road­works in Pu­chong

groundbreaking cer­e­mony was re­cently held to of­fi­ci­ate the start of up­grad­ing and ex­pan­sion works of the Ban­dar Pu­teri Pu­chong in­ter­change. The con­struc­tion works car­ried out by IOI Prop­er­ties Group Ber­had (IOIPG) will fa­cil­i­tate bet­ter con­nec­tiv­ity for Pu­chong res­i­dents and im­prove traf­fic flow be­tween the Le­buhraya Da­mansara Pu­chong (LDP) and Ban­dar Pu­teri Pu­chong.

Road widen­ing works (at the road shoul­der of Le­buh Pu­teri fronting Citibank and Gi­ant Hyper­mar­ket) will start at Q4, 2016 and is ex­pected to be com­pleted by Q1, 2017. Up­grad­ing works on the in­ter­change on the other hand, will be­gin at Q1, 2017 and is sched­uled for com­ple­tion in Q2, 2018. Roads to be closed to fa­cil­i­tate the works in­clude the ex­ist­ing ramp from the LDP to Ban­dar Pu­teri and the u-turn un­der­neath the Ban­dar Pu­teri In­ter­change. Road signs and al­ter­na­tive routes into Ban­dar Pu­teri Pu­chong will be put up.

The pro­ject, cost­ing RM20 mil­lion, is fully funded and con­structed by IOIPG.
