Roadworks in Puchong
groundbreaking ceremony was recently held to officiate the start of upgrading and expansion works of the Bandar Puteri Puchong interchange. The construction works carried out by IOI Properties Group Berhad (IOIPG) will facilitate better connectivity for Puchong residents and improve traffic flow between the Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) and Bandar Puteri Puchong.

Road widening works (at the road shoulder of Lebuh Puteri fronting Citibank and Giant Hypermarket) will start at Q4, 2016 and is expected to be completed by Q1, 2017. Upgrading works on the interchange on the other hand, will begin at Q1, 2017 and is scheduled for completion in Q2, 2018. Roads to be closed to facilitate the works include the existing ramp from the LDP to Bandar Puteri and the u-turn underneath the Bandar Puteri Interchange. Road signs and alternative routes into Bandar Puteri Puchong will be put up.
The project, costing RM20 million, is fully funded and constructed by IOIPG.
