HECTOR BELLERIN’S agent expects the fullback to sign a new contract extension with Arsenal after holding positive talks with the club. Albert Botines was in London last week to discuss a new deal with Arsenal officials who are keen to snuff out interest from Barcelona for their young star. Bellerin, who still has three years remaining on his current deal with the Gunners, has been in superb form for the club this season and is rapidly becoming one of the Premier League’s best right backs. The Cataloniaborn defender has also broke into the Spain senior squad in the past year and, despite being a surprise omission for upcoming squad to face England at Wembley, Bellerin looks set to become one of their key players for the future. “We are speaking and are now a lot closer than we were two weeks ago. In a normal situation he will sign,” Botines said. “Hector is very happy at Arsenal. This would be the fourth time he has signed a new contract at the club and it is clear he has made good progress.”
