Volatile trading ahead
BURSA Malaysia is expected to see volatile trading this week due to weak external developments on the back of an imminent interest rate increase by the US Federal Reserve against a backdrop of uncertainties over policies under a Donald Trump presidency.
Affin Hwang Investment Bank vice-president/head of retail research Datuk Dr Nazri Khan Adam Khan said most investors will adopt a wait-and-see approach, watching out for Trump’s next move on policies towards emerging economies.
“The FBM KLCI is expected to trade between 1,600 and 1,640 points (this week),” he added. – Bernama
