BE VIG­I­LANT, PM TELLS MALAYSIANS IN NZ

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Min­is­ter Datuk Seri Na­jib Ab­dul Razak have ad­vised Malaysians who are in New Zealand to re­main vig­i­lant and im­me­di­ately con­tact the High Com­mis­sion of Malaysia in Welling­ton if they were af­fected by the earth­quake on Sun­day. In a state­ment posted on his of­fi­cial Face­book page, Na­jib said the For­eign Min­istry would con­tin­u­ously mon­i­tor the sit­u­a­tion closely al­though there have been no re­ports of Malaysian ca­su­al­ties. “Please con­tact the High Com­mis­sion at +64-4-385-2439 or +64-2-1044-0188 if you need help or for fur­ther en­quiries,” he said. Na­jib also ex­pressed con­do­lences to New Zealan­ders, es­pe­cially fam­i­lies of vic­tims of the quake, that left at least two peo­ple dead. – Ber­nama
