BE careful when choosing a pale lipstick; The wrong colour can make your teeth appear yellowish, advises top make-up artist Rene Koch.

When buying lipstick, you should orient yourself according to the actual colour tone of your teeth,

The pinker the lipstick, the less yellow the teeth will appear. Therefore, if you have pearly white teeth, you can go for paler tones. For teeth that are slightly yellow, nude lipsticks with a hint of pink are best.

Pale lipstick colours range from beige to slightly brownish tones, which give the appearance of wearing little to no lipstick. – dpa

So-called Nude Look lipsticks come close to flesh colours, but can make teeth look yellow.
