Hell or High Water
provides the only light-hearted moments of the movie.
While the story revolves around the two brothers and their plans for the money – which includes Toby providing a future for his estranged sons – the movie’s big draw will be the cinematography.
The audience can see how desolate that part of the US is, with small towns dying and people losing their livelihood, ane where banks are perceived as the bad entities.
Overall, it is a thought-provoking movie, but personally I feel that it would have been a much better movie if the director had done away with the last 15 minutes.
