Mesini­aga bags TNB deal

PETALING JAYA: In­for­ma­tion tech­nol­ogy com­pany Mesini­aga Bhd has clinched a RM12.17 mil­lion con­tract from Te­naga Na­sional Bhd (TNB) for the pro­vi­sion of in­te­grated com­mu­ni­ca­tion ser­vices in­ter­net pro­to­col/mul­ti­pro­to­col la­bel switch­ing net­work equip­ment for TNB op­er­a­tion re­quire­ments.

In a fil­ing with Bursa Malaysia yes­ter­day, Mesini­aga said the 32-month con­tract will not have any ma­te­rial ef­fect on the com­pany’s net as­sets for the fi­nan­cial year end­ing Dec 31, 2016, but is ex­pected to con­trib­ute pos­i­tively to its earn­ings over the said pe­riod.

Mesini­aga closed lower 0.93% or 1 sen at RM1.07 yes­ter­day, with some 2,500 shares traded.
