WATER DISRUPTION IN KL

KUALA LUMPUR: Several areas in Kuala Lumpur and Gombak are experiencing water supply disruption due to slow pumping of raw water to the treatment plant at Sungai Selangor Phase 1 and 3. Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas), in a statement yesterday, said pumping of raw water to the plant was affected due to the rubbish which had piled up at the intake point when the garbage trap in the river broke.
