NO M’SIANS HURT IN OHIO AT­TACK

KUALA LUMPUR: No Malaysian stu­dents were hurt in an at­tack at Ohio State Univer­sity in the United States on Mon­day, said Ed­u­ca­tion Malaysia Wash­ing­ton DC. Amer­i­can me­dia re­ported that a stu­dent crashed his ve­hi­cle onto the side­walk at the Columbus, Ohio, cam­pus be­fore slash­ing stu­dents with a butcher knife and was later fa­tally shot by a cam­pus po­lice of­fi­cer. “All 296 Malaysian stu­dents are safe,” said the ed­u­ca­tion of­fice. Eleven peo­ple are be­ing treated at a hos­pi­tal, with one in crit­i­cal con­di­tion. It was re­ported that the al­leged at­tacker was a univer­sity stu­dent of So­mali de­scent. – Ber­nama
