UPGRADE PUBLIC SERVICE SYSTEMS, AGENCIES TOLD

-

TAWAU: Government agencies are advised to upgrade traditional public service systems to more advanced systems which are more efficient and effective, said Resource Development and Information Technology assistant minister Datuk Hamisa Samat. He said by changing the existing manual system to an electronic or smart system, it would ease the work process, thus promoting a more conducive work environment and better service to the public. “It is important for the government agencies to provide the public with online access to services and information so that their physical presence is not required at the office premises,” he said when officiating at an information communications technology seminar here yesterday. – Bernama
