PETALING JAYA: Dol­phin In­ter­na­tional Bhd has been awarded a RM6 mil­lion contract for the sup­ply of con­crete ce­ment and metal for up­grad­ing works of the fa­cil­i­ties of train cargo ter­mi­nal at Padang Be­sar, Perlis. In a fil­ing with Bursa Malaysia yes­ter­day, Dol­phin said its wholly owned sub­sidiary Dol­phin Con­struc­tion Sdn Bhd ac­cepted the award by Syarqiah Hold­ings Sdn Bhd. The up­grad­ing of the fa­cil­i­ties in­clude the con­struc­tion of a three-storey build­ing of­fice, im­prov­ing the train track, im­prov­ing the yard con­tainer and im­prov­ing the en­trance and exit lane for con­tainer truck. The award is ex­pected to con­trib­ute pos­i­tively to the earn­ings and net as­sets per share of the group for the fi­nan­cial year end­ing Dec 31.
