FINANCE OFFICER NABBED BY MACC

PUTRAJAYA: A finance executive was arrested by the MACC yesterday for allegedly facilitating loans amounting to RM400,000 for an accomplice through illegal means. Sources said the 30-yearold woman, who was in charge of the pawnbroking department, allegedly stole jewellery pawned by customers before handing them to the accomplice, who would then pawn the items again with the company to obtain a loan.
