We all need eDrive

> Do your daily commute in ‘one of the world’s most successful business saloons’ and save some baby whales too

The Sun (Malaysia) - - SUNBIZ -

That energy management optimises the effectiveness of the electric drivetrain and the high-performance battery with a predictive operating strategy, says BMW, which promises that this car offers an allelectric driving range of up to 48 kilometres with a maximum speed of up to 140km/h – the best in its segment.

So, you leave for work with the 530e Sport fully charged, drive to your office on just electric power, recharge it there while you are at work, and drive on electric power again to go home, where you will recharge it for the next day’s commute.

You will still get stuck in traffic congestion on those drives, but you have some comfort in knowing that those traffic crawls don’t waste so much of your fuel, since the (petrol) engine is hardly used, if at all.
