Time Out Malaysia Eating and Drinking Guide - - EATING -

Unlike most restaurants in KL, Sitka manages to execute the deceivingly minimalist concept of modern European food. I love that I can eat at a European restaurant in KL and not have to choose between seared foie gras or filet mignon. This is, of course, thanks in large to Christian Recomio – of Scotland’s Moonfish Café – imported by owner Jenifer Kuah to show ‘em how it’s done. His ingredients are affectionately handled, his ideas are as exciting as they are vast (white chocolate with wood sorrel!), and his plating is beautiful in its starkness. It helps too that Christian and Jenifer actively forage for local produce – a practice that’s long overdue among KL’s top restaurants.
