The fried chicken at WOW isn’t the crispi­est we’ve ever had but the dish cer­tainly hits all the right spots: The coat­ing gets a flavour boost from the sticky-sweet sauce while the shell-like skin crum­bles with a deep, sat­is­fy­ing crunch. The scat­ter­ing of punchy fried gar­lic adds another di­men­sion to this deep-fried guilty plea­sure – more than enough to guar­an­tee that each bite will ben­e­fit from this ex­plo­sion of flavour. This may just be the best KFC (Korean fried chicken, that is) we’ve had.
