Soju Penang

Time Out Malaysia Eating and Drinking Guide - - SPECIAL FEATURE -

Decked out in laser lights, the Soju Group is famed for their futuristic setup and pretty good menu of guest artistes and music in their six locations. First established in Penang (Soju Room, Room and M2 Club Penang)and then gracing KL with its presence (Soju KL, Soju Sunway and Soju Bar) soon after, Soju boasts an impressive list of international musicians, DJs, live bands and dancers, showcased by their weekly events and mini concerts (the venue is huge). For a little variety to shake things up, theme parties like retro nights and Halloween are just some of the events they organise. Sauntering into the immense space, check out Soju's stylish runway stage for fashion shows. When the runways are not in use for fashion events, sultry models strut by on the runway stage on regular nights. One signature of the Soju Group is the immensely luxurious yet ultra modern decor and exclusive VIP rooms – enough to wow club goers. The experience is what counts, right? Apart from the dance floor, they also have thoughtfully designated spots for clubbers to catch a breath of fresh air. While you’re having a break from the dance floor, Soju has a nice surprise for you – the food here is actually quite good. Order some bite-sized finger food or indulge in a selection of stomach-filling mains at Soju Café inside the club before and after drinks.
