The section for kids: Make your own ice cream, colouring activities and more

Method 1. Combine all your ingredients and mix well. It’s a good idea to place this mixture

in the fridge for a while to make sure it’s cold before continuing. 2. Place the cold mixture in the small ziplock bag – put this in a second bag and

seal it as well to ensure that no icy salt water gets into your ice cream later. 3. Prepare a large ziplock bag with around 4 cups of ice. Add 6 tablespoons of rock

salt to the ice. 4. Place the small ziplock bags inside the large ice-filled bag and seal it shut. 5. Put on gloves or wrap a towel around the bag because it will get very cold. 6. Start shaking – it could take up to 10 minutes for your ice cream to form. 7. Scoop out your homemade ice cream and enjoy.
