Time Out Malaysia Kids - - Eating Out -

18 Jalan Hang Lekiu, Malacca (06 281 4679/ Hearty brunch meals and comfort food take centre stage at this new eatery hidden in a quiet corner minutes away from Jonker Street. The menu consists of an array of Western delights: sandwiches, pasta, quesadillas, burgers and artisanal bread with portions that are great for sharing with kids. Have a go at the Smoked Duck Salad that’s served with homemade dressing; we liked that the duck is tender and juicy and comes with a portion of greens that complements the meal. Don’t be surprised if your young ones have their eyes on the desserts. The desserts here are the highlight, what with their indulgent hot chocolate served with chocolate truffles, sticky toffee pudding and freshly-baked cookies served with Häagen-Dazs ice cream. The patio is spacious which is great for big families, especially if you love to make use of natural lighting for taking photos with the family and food. The location is rather hard to find but the search is worth it. Child-friendly. High chairs available. Mon & Wed-Sun, 8.30am-6pm. $$
