Time Out Malaysia Kids - - Shopping -

Many malls used to be designed with the idea that mums would leave their kids at home with the maid. But times have changed, and malls have woken up to the fact that mums and dads bring kids with them and are looking for a total lifestyle experience. Families are on the lookout for changing and feeding rooms, and ideally places for mum and dad to chill out, for the kids to eat and play and for everybody to have a nice stroll with cool things to look at. Local mums and dads will seek out these beacons of sanity, sanitation and safety because no matter how awesome the shopping, if the facilities are bad, it doesn’t compensate.

This is a subjective selection of malls, and is the result of particular experiences with a cheeky three-year-old. Parents with older kids may have a different experience of these venues.
