Bake Me Won­ders

If your eight-year-old has been watch­ing ‘Ju­nior Masterchef’ and wants a slice of the pie, Bake Me Won­ders is the right place to nur­ture your child’s pas­sion for cook­ing. The cen­tre of­fers bak­ing classes for kids four and above, culi­nary classes for kids eight and above, and a ProBak­ers class for teens aged 13 to 16. Sign your child up for one of the cen­tre’s hol­i­day camps or or­gan­ise a bak­ing party for a group of kids. Sat, 10am-3.30pm.

The Cook­ing House

Classes here run the gamut, teach­ing kids how to make ev­ery­thing from churros and mac­arons to great big steaks and del­i­cate sushi. The sched­ule is ever chang­ing and in­cred­i­bly in­ter­est­ing. Classes are very much hands on so even if your kids have never boiled an egg, don’t fear. The Cook­ing House’s in­struc­tors al­ways make sure the kids get solid in­struc­tions in ba­sic cook­ing be­fore they progress to ad­vanced menus. The Cook­ing House goes an ex­tra mile by help­ing you host cook­ing birth­day par­ties with their ever-ready birth­day themes or you can cus­tomise ac­cord­ing to your pref­er­ence. Grace Home Cakes

Sign your kids up for cook­ing classes at Grace Home Cakes and they’ll be tak­ing home mouth-wa­ter­ing desserts like cheese­cakes, cup­cakes and cook­ies. Be­sides teach­ing the ba­sics of bak­ing, Grace Home also of­fers spe­cial in­struc­tions on dec­o­ra­tive tech­niques such as ic­ing pat­terns. Mum and Dad will even get to taste their kids’ hand­i­work af­ter. Call for ap­point­ment.

Nathalie’s Gourmet Stu­dio

Even kids can dis­cover the se­crets and joys of French cui­sine through Nathalie’s hand­son cook­ing classes. Young Chefs Academy

Pink Daisy Cook­ies Sta­tion

Pink Daisy op­er­ates as a bak­ery on a day-to-day ba­sis, but or­gan­ises cook­ing and bak­ing classes once in a blue moon.
