Cupcake Decorating Workshop
The Actors Studio @ klpac, Sentul Park, Jalan Strachan, off Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, KL (03 4047 9000/www.klpac.org). This cupcake workshop is suitable for kids ages four to seven years old and will cover the basics of cupcake decorating techniques. Kids will get a chance to use professional baking equipment and have fun with edible glitter and sprinkles. At the end of the workshops, kids are allowed to take home six of their cupcake creations.

EG Children’s Education Show 2016

The organisers have gathered various pre-schools and education centres under one roof for your ease and convenience. While mum and dad are busy gathering information, kids can participate in stage activities, games and workshops. Intensive Creative Arts Programme

The one-week programme is filled with theatre-based activities and games that will help kids in their self-development and creativity. Activities include singing, dance, arts and crafts and drama. The programme is catered to kids ages three to six years old. First intake, May 30-Jun 3; Second intake, Jun 6-10. 10am-12noon. RM280 (RM50 for registration).
The Star Education Fair
Hall 4, KL Convention Centre, KL (03 7967 1388). Back for its 29th edition this June, the highly successful The Star Education Fair will see over 100 local and international education institutions in the KL Convention Centre. There will also be talks by industry leaders, education consultants on hand to discuss with, as well as free personality and career tests. Bring the older ones here to check out the multitude of possibilities available for their future. Jun 11 & 12, 11am-7pm.
Tech Starter Camp
Creative Tech Camp, Plaza Damansara, Damansara Heights (019 335 4507/ www.creativetechcamp.com). If your kids have ever wanted to learn about coding, this is the camp for them. Kids will get three different tech experiences – learning how to code, making their own game using Minecraft and improving on their design thinking with the use of electronics. After learning the basics, they will also get the chance to develop their own games and work with electronics for a more hands-on experience. At the end of the camp, your kids will bring home their own games and electronic projects.

Teen Multimedia Workshop at Alliance Française
15 Lorong Gurney, KL (03 2694 7880/ www.alliancefrancaise.org.my). If the kids love the French language and fiddling around with IT, this workshop is the one for them. Participants can practise their French while using the language in the context of multimedia and IT workshops. These workshops will also help boost kids’ creativity levels by training them to think out of the box with activities involving an iPad. Thu, May 19, 4-6pm.
