Classes here run the gamut, teaching kids how to make everything from churros and macarons to great big steaks and delicate sushi. The schedule is ever changing and incredibly interesting. Classes are very much hands on so even if your kids have never boiled an egg, don’t fear. Grace Home Cakes

Sign your kids up for cooking classes at Grace Home Cakes and they’ll be taking home mouth-watering desserts like cheesecakes, cupcakes and cookies. Besides teaching the basics of baking, Grace Home also offers special instructions on decorative techniques such as icing patterns. The cooking school has even introduced online baking classes conducted over Skype! Call for appointment.
Nathalie’s Gourmet Studio

Young Chefs Academy

Pink Daisy Cookies Station

Pink Daisy operates as a bakery on a day-to-day basis, but organises cooking and baking classes once in a blue moon. Decked out in pink or blue chef hats and aprons, kids will learn to make decorated cakes, muffins and other pastries. Mon-Thu & Sun, 9am-7pm; Fri-Sat, 9am-6pm. Lorna Whiston Centre

Lorna Whiston is a well-reputed English language centre that specialises in speech and drama programmes for children. Classes are conducted in small groups of 12 and arranged around the child’s level of English. The hired instructors have great expertise in their fields and love kids. Some programmes include English as a foreign language, public speaking and the aforementioned speech and drama classes. Morris Allen sets itself apart from other language centres by adopting an interactive approach that strengthens students’ English skills and boosts their confidence and motivation to learn. Teachers give students lots of positive feedback and create an environment where it’s okay to make mistakes. The centre accepts students from nursery to SPM level and courses are offered on an ongoing basis. Your child may register even after the semester has begun. Regular classes aside, the centre also offers short, intensive courses on specific themes to help students improve their everyday usage of English.

Aiming to promote the French language and culture around the world, Alliance Française is a not-for-profit international organisation founded in 1884. Its many courses for children and adults have flexible schedules to suit individual commitments. Kids’ courses are separated into two age groups for seven- to nine-year-olds and tento 13-year-olds.
