For­merly Traders Ho­tel, Ho­tel Jen is ex­cel­lent for young fam­i­lies plan­ning to visit LE­GOLAND and Pu­teri Har­bour Fam­ily Theme Park (hous­ing Hello Kitty Town and Thomas Town). Al­though the ho­tel is dis­tance bit far from the city, it’s within walk­ing dis­tance to Hello Kitty Town and a mere five-minute drive from LE­GOLAND. Fam­i­lies with­out a car can sim­ply hop on the free shut­tle bus pro­vided by the ho­tel. Ho­tel Jen’s chic rooms, smooth ser­vice and stun­ning infinity pool on the rooftop are all the more rea­son to make a reser­va­tion.

Four Sea­sons of­fers an idyl­lic base for fam­i­lies and ex­tends an es­pe­cially warm wel­come to its younger guests by serv­ing milk and cook­ies and pro­vid­ing spe­cial gifts such as colour­ing books, choco­late treats and toys. Drop them off at the ded­i­cated Kids For All Sea­sons Club, which of­fers batik paint­ing and rock climb­ing, or take them out on a child-friendly sa­fari ride to the man­groves. Babysit­ting ser­vices are also pro­vided.

The Frangi­pani Langkawi Re­sort & Spa

This re­sort fac­ing a beach car­peted with soft white sand is a nat­u­ral haven that the kids will surely ap­pre­ci­ate. With two swim­ming pools, a kid­die pool and beach ac­tiv­i­ties such as vol­ley­ball and snor­kel­ing, it’s hard to com­plain of bore­dom here. Though slightly worn around the edges, this green ho­tel is worth a stay; you’re likely to be out­doors most of the time any­way.

Mer­i­tus Pe­langi

Mer­i­tus Pe­langi boasts of a great lo­ca­tion on Pan­tai Ce­nang – per­fect for en­joy­ing the beach, ex­plor­ing food stalls and res­tau­rants, and en­joy­ing a host of wa­ter sports. Styled af­ter a tra­di­tional Malay vil­lage, the ho­tel fea­tures one- and two-storey wooden chalets along the beach and around its ponds, man-made lakes and two swim­ming pools.
