On week­ends, head to the the­atre to ex­pose the kids to the magic that hap­pens live on stage and in­stil them with proper the­atre eti­quette.

KL is blessed with three dy­namic per­form­ing arts cen­tres – Kuala Lumpur Per­form­ing Arts Cen­tre (kl­pac), PJ Live Arts and Da­mansara Per­form­ing Arts Cen­tre (DPAC) – in ad­di­tion to in­de­pen­dent pre­sen­ters such as Masakini The­atre Com­pany, The­atre Lounge Café and The­atre KuAsh at Pusat Kre­atif Kanak-kanak Tuanku Bainun.

PJ Live Arts is known for show­cas­ing both lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional pro­duc­tions in­clud­ing mu­si­cal the­atre, pup­petry, ed­u­ca­tional shows and plays based on pop­u­lar books; while older kids and teens might en­joy the va­ri­ety of shows at Theare Lounge Café.

Ap­pre­ci­ate clas­si­cal mu­sic at the Malaysian Phil­har­monic Or­ches­tra (MPO), which invests much care and at­ten­tion to cu­rat­ing its Fam­ily Fun Day (FFD) pro­gramme. The con­certs in this series are held dur­ing week­ends, are an hour-long at most, en­cour­age au­di­ence par­tic­i­pa­tion, and shirk strict dress codes to make it an af­ter­noon the whole fam­ily can en­joy.
