Time Out Malaysia Kids - - Eating Out -

You may think yet another Italian café in KL’s isn’t worth a try, but Ra-Ft is a promising new kid on the block. The menu is decidedly un-Italian in the sense that it’s not about typical pasta and pizza. There are some excellent healthy and vegetarian choices and the Italian owners ensure the coffee is up to standard. The space is bright and airy, with huge windows allowing in plenty of light, and the lunch crowd is mainly people who work in the vicinity and yummy mummies who come for the food and the cosy bite-sized play area ideal for toddlers.

There isn’t a specific kids’ menu, but there are babycinos, pancakes (with Nutella no less) and tasty brunch options they can share with parents. Get the full breakfast with all the trimmings including real bacon. And they do a pretty mean burger as well! There’s vino for parents too so it’s a win-win situation all round. Unit G1, Ground floor, Binjai 8, 2 Lorong Binjai, KL (03 2181 1091/ra-ft.com). Mon-Sat, 7.30am-10pm; Sun, 7.30am-7pm.
