Aban­doned for more than a decade due to the Asian Fi­nan­cial Cri­sis in 1997/98, Quill City

Mall, then known as Vi­sion City Mall, will be mak­ing its way back into the lives of KLites! Opened to the public in Jan­uary 2015, Quill City Mall is lo­cated on high en­ergy Jalan Sul­tan Is­mail and is only an ap­prox­i­mately 15-minute drive from KLCC and the Bukit Bin­tang area. You can also eas­ily ac­cess the mall from the Medan Tuanku Mono­rail sta­tion, and it’s just a stone’s throw from the Sher­a­ton Im­pe­rial Kuala Lumpur and Asian Her­itage Row.

The mall is at­trac­tively de­signed with shops clus­ter­ing around mul­ti­ple atrias, en­hanced with the su­perb use of nat­u­ral light­ing. Here, shop­ping is con­ve­nient with favourites like AEON, Daiso, H&M, Guess, Hush Pup­pies and Skech­ers. Par­ents will be grate­ful for the spa­cious kids play cen­tre that will keep their chil­dren oc­cu­pied and makes this place per­fect for play­dates!

Dining at the mall is ir­re­sistible: Bathed in nat­u­ral light, the al­fresco dining area of­fers spec­tac­u­lar views of the city, in­clud­ing the Petronas Twin Tow­ers. Find a long list of op­tions, in­clud­ing Bal­ifeel, Sub­way, LongHorn Steak­house, The Man­hat­tan Fish Mar­ket, Red Lob­ster and Sushi King among many more. Grab a gelato at Mam­mamia or a cuppa at Teh Tarik Place if you’re just af­ter a snack.
