18 Chingay Parade
There is usually a colourful Chingay Parade that takes place to celebrate the birthdays of Chinese deities. In addition to performances by lion dance troupes, acrobatic teams will display their skills. Marvel at the traditional act of balancing a huge flagpole on their foreheads and chins.
25 Christmas Day
Christians celebrate the birth of Christ with masses and church services throughout the state. It’s usually a merry affair with open houses, visiting with family and friends, bright decorations, carolling and gift exchanges.
