Celebrity Nadia Heng shows how to add a quirky flair to your make-up

Of Chinese-English parentage, Nadia Heng grew up in the small town of Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan where she described her formative years as “relaxed and carefree”. Not long after completing her tertiary studies in Universiti Sains Malaysia, she was crowned Miss World Malaysia 2010. Nadia went on to represent the country at the Miss World pageant in the same year and soon, her hosting and modelling gigs began to take off.

Now happily married, Nadia currently has a show called “Food Magic” that airs every Monday morning on tv2. She is also a part of NTA Social Enterprises, which runs schools for children and training centres for women – mostly refugees and single mothers. “Most of the areas outside of the city have very limited resources and we help them by offering baking and sewing classes, as well as basic financial management for those who wish to earn a salary or open their own enterprise in the near future,” she says. One thing’s for sure, you won’t stop hearing about this bighearted social butterfly anytime soon.
