GWYNETH PALTROW She famously put her kids on a low-carb diet but the 46-year-old Avengers star, Gwyneth, thinks the fuss made over her healthy eating regime is exaggerated. “I cannot possibly be on a cleanse all the time! I did one for seven weeks last year and it was awful. My first meal of the day is often lunch. I keep it light on carbs so my energy levels do not swing all day.” ADRIANA LIMA Victoria’s Secret Angel and low-carb lover Adriana loves her fresh diet with a side of Brazilian naughtiness! “I love smoothies, fresh fruit and veggies.
I take a daily vitamin and drink different herbal teas to help purify my body,” reveals the 36-year-old model. “But I also make a really good Brazilian dish called feijoada and I love chocolate molten cake. I can never get enough of it!” KIM KARDASHIAN
Kim lost 70lbs on a low-carb ketogenic diet after having her second baby, Saint, in 2015. The 37-year-old reality TV star admits that she can no longer eat junk food like she used to and describes her current eating habits as, “not a diet but a healthy lifestyle.” HALLE BERRY
Oscar winner Halle continues to defy the ageing process with this diet. “It’s simple - no sugar and no carbs. What you force your body to do is, instead of burning sugar for fuel, you start to burn healthy fats like avocado, coconut oil and eggs. Healthy fats and butter can be a part of your diet.” VANESSA HUDGENS Vanessa is flying the flag for Keto after dropping 10lbs in just one month. The 29-year-old former High School Muscial star says she feels liberated by turning traditional diet rules on their head. “It’s eating real foods,” says Vanessa. “It’s honestly high-fat, high-protein. We have been brainwashed to think that fat is bad, but it is what will make you feel fuller longer. Your body can burn it and use it as fuel.” KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN Kourtney was first introduced to the keto diet in 2017 as part of a lifestyle makeover. “I make broccoli rice or cauliflower rice to feel like I was eating some carbs,” says the 38-year-old eldest Kardashian sibling.
“I add protein like grilled chicken and fish over broccoli rice or cauliflower rice. I also mixed in some roasted vegetables, fresh salads with homemade dressing, and smoothies made with avocados as well as bananas.”
