CHINESE CHIC

Shanghai Restaurant at JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur sets the stage for grand feasts.

Framed with two tall standing lanterns, the entrance to JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur’s signature restaurant, Shanghai conjures a sense of intrigue. Like the entire hotel, Shanghai has undergone a complete transformation and emerged with a touch of modern Chinese glamour. Neutral tones of black Marquina marble and light grey Emperado marble lend a contemporary and elegant feel to the restaurant.

One of its key changes – and its newest attraction – is a separate bar, located next to the entrance, a choice spot for diners who prefer an apéritif in a comfortable yet stylish lounge setting. An inventive range of Shanghai-themed cocktails is a feast for the eyes as they are created on the spot at the bar.

Long established as the preferred venue for authentic Shanghainese cuisine in Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai Restaurant serves classic, exquisite dishes and dim sum, with vibrant and distinctive flavours. Four tastefully furnished private dining rooms are available.
