Connecting through culture

-

Following last year’s success, the Ta’ Xbiex local council is once again organising the intercultural activity, Connecting through culture.

Ta' Xbiex is considered by many as the embassy capital of Malta, as it is undoubtedly the locality that hosts the largest number of foreign embassies and embassy residencies on the island. For this reason, the Ta' Xbiex local council is once again involving all the embassies in Ta' Xbiex to hold this event on Sunday, 24 July from 6pm onwards.

Each embassy will have either a stand of food and drink or will be delivering an artistic performance on stage. Highlighting the evening will be a variety show with performances from local and international artists who will be coming to Malta exclusively for this event. The food and drink offered, as well as the performances, will be typical of the countries participating, with the aim of giving a taste of different food, delicacies and culture from around the globe, thus celebrating diversity and as the name of the event implies, connecting through culture.

This activity is supported and co-financed by the Parliamentary Secretariat for Local Government.

The Ta' Xbiex Local Council would like to take this opportunity to thank the district police for supporting this event.
