Lidl Store opens in Mosta and creates new jobs

The new Lidl store in Mosta has opened its doors bringing the eighth Lidl store to the Maltese Islands. With a sales area of approximately 1,600 sq.m. and more than 170 parking spaces for customer convenience, the new Lidl store will include a team of 40 friendly and enthusiastic employees. The store in Mosta will be open Mondays to Thursdays from 7am to 7pm, Fridays from 7am till 10pm and on Saturdays from 7am to 8pm. The store will offer a wide range of more than 1,000 products, including fresh fruit and vegetables and an in-store bakery offering bread and pastries freshly baked throughout the day. The range also consists of both food and non-food items, which are offered twice a week, every Monday and Thursday.

“We are proud to be opening our eighth store on the Maltese Islands, which we believe will accommodate patrons from the northern part of the island,” said a representative from Lidl. “We will now offer the same enjoyable and convenient shopping experience. Our intention is to increase customer satisfaction by providing highquality products at the best possible prices while delivering an outstanding shopping experience.”

Lidl currently employs over 300 employees in Malta and Gozo and has continuously increased its local product base, working hand in hand with local suppliers.
