Independence Cup men’s semifinalists known
The four men’s semifinalists in the Independence Cup competition were known on Sunday at the end of the group stage matches.
These are Floriana MCP Car Parks, Gzira Athleta, BUPA Luxol and Depiro.
The semifinals – as well as the final - will be played tomorrow at the Ta’ Qali pavilion. The following is the programme: Semifinals: 10.30am Floriana MCP Car Parks-BUPA Luxol; 1.30pm Depiro-Gzira Athleta. Final: 4.30pm. The women’s event is being held on a round robin basis. The remaining matches, including the final are also to be played tomorrow.
These are Depiro-Caffe MOAK Luxol at 9am and Gzira Athleta-Hibernians at 12 noon.
The first two in the standings will contest the final which will commence at 3pm.
