Frame Foot­ball Malta at Ham­run Spar­tans Nurs­ery

Ham­run Spar­tans FC Youth Nurs­ery hosted Frame Foot­ball Malta (FFM) as part of the UEFA Grass­roots Week or­gan­ised by the Malta Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion’s Tech­ni­cal Cen­tre Grass­roots De­part­ment and the Youth Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion.

Frame Foot­ball Malta is the lo­cal body of a new unique ver­sion of foot­ball for chil­dren and youths who make use of walk­ing frames. FFM have over 20 chil­dren prac­tis­ing foot­ball and this was the ideal op­por­tu­nity for these young chil­dren to have fun through sports.

The event hosted by Ham­run Spar­tans FC in their nurs­ery pitch in­volved four chil­dren from FFM who joined forces with eight U12 young­sters of the Ham­run Spar­tans Nurs­ery un­der the guid­ance of Coach An­to­nio Grech Barone and Nurs­ery Head Coach Ste­fan Sul­tana.

Spar­tans pro­lific striker Saturday Nanapere also par­tic­i­pated in this event whose main ob­jec­tive was to get these young kids to have fun through the game of foot­ball.

Fol­low­ing the UEFA Grass­roots Week, Ham­run Spar­tans Youth Nurs­ery have agreed over an agree­ment with FFM in order to host sim­i­lar ses­sion on a weekly ba­sis over the week­ends.

Ham­run Spar­tans FC Nurs­ery also con­firmed that FFM will also be in­cluded in the Nurs­ery Easter hol­i­days main event dur­ing the Tony Ba­jada Me­mo­rial Foot­ball Fes­ti­val.

Ham­run Spar­tans FC via their Youth Nurs­ery en­cour­age other foot­ball nurs­eries to sup­port this group in or­gan­is­ing such events for a good cause.

The Spar­tans Youth Nurs­ery be­lieves that this makes part of the Club’s Elite Academy re­struc­tur­ing pro­gramme that will soon come into place and should be a role model in the so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity sec­tor to oth­ers in order to sup­port these groups and en­ti­ties.
