St. Michael’s Training College of Teachers reunion
Friday 23rd September was a unique occasion for a group of exteachers to meet together, and reminisce about the wonderful, and unforgettable, two years they spent together at St. Michael’s Teacher Training College, at Ta’ Giorni.
It was a happy 50th anniversary to this 1966-68 group, which was 66 member strong, as they celebrated the first time, for most of them, that they had met together, to start a lifelong friendship, that was kept ongoing for all these number of years.
They also remembered those that couldn’t make it to this reunion, for various reasons, and also the nine dear departed who formed part of the group, but who went to a better life during this half century that passed by so swiftly.
The ones who could make it to this reunion, reading from left to right: Alfred Grech, Joe Navarro, John Scerri, Anthony Buhagiar, Joseph Busuttil, Michael Zerafa, Joe Vella Caruana, Joseph Huber, Paul Fenech, Joseph Fenech, Albert Storace, Willie Vassallo, Marcel Scicluna, Angelo Demicoli, Louis Mercieca, Anthony Fenech, Anthony Gatt, Joseph Magro, Albert McCarthy, Joseph Soler and Edwin Lanfranco
