Mixed re­sults for the Italian teams

Two wins and two losses is the sum­mary of the Italian teams af­ter Roma and Fiorentina claimed two big wins at home, while Sas­suolo and In­ter lost way. The most dis­ap­ponting re­sult came from Prague as In­ter lost again this time to Sparta Prague 3-1. De­fen­sive blun­ders per­mit­ted the Czech side to take a dou­ble ad­van­tage in the first 25 min­utes from Va­clav Kadlec. Ro­dr­gio Pala­cio re­duced the mar­gin on the 71st minute but af­ter Ranoc­chia was sent off, Mario Holek was sent off on the 76th minute. Sas­suolo lost also 3-1 to Belgian side Genk. Euse­bio di Francesco’s side also were 2-0 down in the first 25 min­utes. Genk made them 3-0 af­ter the hour mark while Mat­teo Poli­tano scored the con­so­la­tion goal on the 65th minute. Fiorentina claimed their first win in Group J when they eas­ily de­feated Qarabag 5-1. The win looked eas­ily but the goals came only af­ter Elvin Yunuszade was sent off on the half hour mark. In six min­utes be­fore the break, Fiorentina scored three goals by a brace by Babacar and Kalinic. Zarate scored also a brace in the sec­ond half. Roma beat As­tra Gi­urgiu 4-0 with goals from St­root­man, Fazio, Fabri­cio o.g and Salah. In other games, Ibrahi­movic gave United a third con­sec­u­tive win in all com­pe­ti­tions with a 1-0 against Zo­rya.
