89.7 Bay Radio DJs take over the MSPCA

Malta Independent - - LIFESTYLE & CULTURE -

The Bay Kids Fund recently made a wonderful donation of €2,645 to help support the animals in need at The MSPCA (The Malta Society for the Protection and Care of Animals). Instead of the customary handshake, in front of the Company logo, we decided to do something which was more ‘Bay Fun’!

Some popular 89.7 Bay Radio DJs were invited to the MSPCA Re-homing Centre, Floriana, to walk dogs or play with the cats. What we discovered was: Ian Lang (Langy) loves dogs! Simon isn’t too fussed and Daniel Testa & Ylenia aren’t really cat people.

The ensuing events were shot on a basic smart phone by the MSPCA staff and edited to a professional standard by illumina Malta. The fun video can be seen on both the MSPCA and 89.7 Bay Facebook pages.

The MSPCA would like to thank The Bay Kids Fund for their generous donation, the 89.7 Bay Radio DJss for being such good sports and illumina Malta for offering their production services free of charge.

The public’s contributions help the MSPCA to take in stray and abandoned animals, rehabilitate them where necessary and re-home them into loving homes. Visit the MSPCA today to meet some of the wonderful four-legged friends shown in the video, plus many more.
