Jival, Dingli and Mosta win again
Jival registered another good win - the second from three games - in the MSV Life League when they beat Tal-Qroqq 9-3.
For the first time since they started taking part in the League, they occupy the first place in the standings.
They havbe two good foreigners who are making all the difference. These are Abugella Wahashi, who is the top scorer at the moment, and new player Dejan Petkovic who impressed with his performance.
It was a game full of tension and Tal-Qroqq had to play the last 40 minutes with five players when Jesmond Bartolo was sent out for passing remarks to the referee.
It was the second consecutive game that Tal-Qroqq had a player sent out, which is unfortunate as the team is finding difficulty to cope. Jival were leading 3-1 at half time, and they went on to win comfortably 9-2 after dominating their opponents.
Dingli Desana gave an excellent performance as champions. They dominated the second half to register their second win - 10-5. The game was played at a fast pace from one end to the other.
Dingli, however, were too efficient, showing good moves with Jeffrey Gauci who scored four and William Borg showing class scoring six goals between them.
Mosta Shaggy Pub also had a good performance with Ricorico Tarik always dangerous with his play apart from his experience. They went for the break 5-1 in the lead, and never looked back. They dominated all out in the second half and won easily 12-2. Despite facing younger opponents, Zurrieq kept on trying up to the end. They are good sportsmen and showing respect to all teams and officials.
