A word of thanks to Gozo Hospital
I imagined my round belly with the navel at its centre under a harsh bright light as a floating orb. Surrounding me was the surgeon, the nurses who came to me like a swarm of honey bees when I first entered the operating theatre, not to sting me, but to put a wire here and a pipe there. The cool hands of the anaesthetist and steady eyes of the surgeon above the green mask reassured me. Then peaceful sleep.
The next morning they told me that it was a matter of life and death. I now was in CCU/ITU in Gozo.
Really I am impressed by your prompt response to the patient’s needs, your professionalism in carrying out the procedures exactly with firm and clean hands, your character: hard when needed so I was prodded on to become better, devilish humour, perfect teamwork. Keep it up. You are so professional. Thank you all you guys of the Gozo Hospital. You saved my life. God Bless You.
