Malta’s Green En­ergy Man­age­ment (MGEM) & B2B Net­work­ing Fo­rum 2016 has launched an in­dus­try-wide call for re­search that high­lights the lat­est Mal­tese and EU built en­vi­ron­ment in­no­va­tions, to show­case at this year’s ex­hi­bi­tion. In part­ner­ship with the Al­tern Ltd – a Mal­tese-wide plat­form to de­velop and ex­change knowl­edge and ev­i­dence to in­form pol­icy and prac­tice, funded by EU schemes – MGEM’s or­gan­is­ers will show­case the lat­est in­no­va­tive ideas and ini­tia­tives from both aca­demic and com­mer­cial re­search and de­vel­op­ment teams dur­ing Novem­ber’s event. Sub­mis­sions could in­clude fu­ture ma­te­ri­als and pro­cesses in early de­vel­op­ment stages, the im­prove­ment and in­no­va­tion of more sus­tain­able so­lu­tions for the con­struc­tion in­dus­try, en­ergy sav­ing light­ing tech­nol­ogy, or in­sight into the ap­pli­ca­tion of ma­te­ri­als used in other sec­tors for the fu­ture of the built en­vi­ron­ment.

The call for en­tries will close mid­day on 14th Novem­ber, and a judg­ing panel will short­list the re­search. The cho­sen sub­mis­sions will form part of MGEM’s Fu­ture Ma­te­ri­als show floor fea­ture.

Com­pa­nies with prod­ucts for en­vi­ron­men­tal com­fort, res­i­den­tial, com­mer­cial, in­dus­trial and hos­pi­tal sec­tor on the whole mar­ket are wel­come to ex­hibit at a spe­cially re­duced pack­age of­fer tai­lor-made to meet any ex­hibitor’s bud­get. Com­pa­nies who pro­pose the best so­lu­tion of en­ergy sav­ing and en­ergy im­prove­ment us­ing prod­ucts and brands of high qual­ity in the field of cli­mate com­fort, air treat­ment, heat­ing and cool­ing by heat pump, so­lar panel (combo so­lu­tions for DHW & heat­ing), Pho­to­voltaic, an­tipol­lu­tion nan­otech­nol­ogy-paint and aper­tures-win­dows in en­ergy class “A” should all do their ut­most to par­tic­i­pate in this unique event. Martin Vella, Man­ag­ing Direc­tor of MBR Pub­li­ca­tions Lim­ited, ex­clu­sive or­gan­iser of this show, said, “Al­ter­na­tive en­ergy to­day is seen as a very im­por­tant source for Mal­tese con­sumers, traders and sup­pli­ers, who are go­ing through a pe­riod of very fast de­vel­op­ment and sees the use of ad­vanced tech­nolo­gies aimed at en­ergy sav­ing and en­ergy im­prove­ment as paramount to their en­ergy cost sav­ing per­for­mances.
